ABA Consultation & Education for Families and Communities

A practical, real-life approach to supporting individuals and the systems around them.

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of understanding behavior - why it's happening, and how to respond in a way that supports meaningful change.

At its core, ABA focuses on the idea that behavior is influenced by what happens before and after it. When those patterns are understood, we can make small, intentional changes that lead to more consistent and positive outcomes over time.

This can include:

  • -Caregivers gaining confidence in how to respond
  • -Individuals building skills that support independence
  • -Teams developing more consistent and effective approaches

Practical and individualized:

  • -Focused on real environments - home, school, and community
  • -Built around understanding behavior and applying strategies in the moment
  • -Flexible based on the needs of the individual or team

In-Home Consultative Support for Families

Megan works directly with your family in the home, assessing an individual's strengths, needs, and goals, then coaching caregivers to implement strategies that carry across all the people and places that matter.

What the process looks like

We start with a conversation to understand what is currently happening and where things feel stuck. From there, support typically includes:

  • -Intake & assessment to understand patterns and needs
  • -Development of a treatment plan and practical recommendations
  • -Caregiver coaching and modeling within real routines
  • -Functionally addressing barriers including caregiver overwhelm and problem solving with realistic plans to move forward
  • -Collaboration with occupational, speech, primary, or mental health to facilitate a well rounded approach
  • -Ongoing progress monitoring and adjustment
